Okay guys! So in order to help encourage sharing inspiration, we’re going to send out weekly inspirational and discussion starting links. If you guys find anything interesting on your own, let us know! We’ll send it out to everyone, and talk about them at our weekly meetings. This is for your benefit! The more people who participate, the more interesting and thought provoking things you will find.
Weekly Inspiration
The first link I want to share with you guys is an article I got from Douglas Brull. (follow him on twitter here! he always has good links). I know it technically isn’t inspiration, but it’s incredibly interesting nonetheless. It talks about the difference between creativity, and design. It also has a test at the end that distinguishes the two. Read it and tell us your thoughts!
The second link is a group of people who believe that type, along with air, water, facebook and cheap porn, should be free. The best thing is — they’re giving away free opensource fonts; and good ones at that!
